On the dawn of my 30th birthday, an icon has passed away. He accomplished so much and his passing too soon. Relentless passion for innovation and a delicate understanding of the human experience. He didn’t have to sell the world modern technology — it sold itself.
I don’t know how to respond to this, a part of me feels like I died today. There’s a foreverness about this event. Just like his presence, his passing will create turning points in people’s lives, companies, and ultimately culture where he led the divergence of technology and the arts.
People cried over JFK, MLK, Hendrix, Elvis, Lennon, Marley, and Jackson. I’m crying over the loss of Steve Jobs, a legend forever. This is a reminder to myself to stay hungry, stay foolish.
